Our water sources
The water in our production process comes entirely from our own sources. This ensures consistent water quality and we don’t have to depend on third parties.
One of the five sources of our mineral water is Sablon. Operating since the 1960s, it is one of the eight Dutch mineral water sources.
What is the difference between spring water and mineral water?
The major difference between mineral water and source water is that:
- Mineral water is filled into the can directly from source.
- Spring water is first transported and then filled into cans.
Yet, this is not the only difference. There are all sorts of other characteristics that water must have before it can be called mineral water. These characteristics are mainly related to substances that must be inherent in the water. Moreover, mineral water may not be treated when filled into the can (for example heated or aerated).
